Collection: Ceramic
Clay was a natural choice when exploring materials for my sculptures, as I have taught pottery for many years and enjoy working with it. I used slabs in two different ways to create these figures. Some were made by joining slab pieces, while others were created with slabs dropped over foam molds. I use mostly commercial glazes, but also a few clear, crackle glazes with India ink rubbed in.
